Event safety handbook design

Clarity and ease-of-use were primary requirements when X-Venture commissioned Pepper Creative to revise and refresh their handbook design.

X-Venture provides specialist consultancy and training solutions in health & safety, fire and security for the events, sports and entertainments industry. They asked Pepper to re-design their current documentation and amalgamate them into one comprehensive Event Safety Handbook.

The handbook needed to be read easily online as a whole or distributed as individual sections relevant to specific course areas. Pepper combatted the dense subject matter with a design that broke content into easily readable columns, interspersed with quotes, images and custom made diagrams. Pepper added visual interest by expanding the existing corporate colour palette and creating geometric patterns to create differentiation between sections.
