Pepper Creative have a wide experience in Progressive Web App (PWA) development and programming. Web Apps look and behave like any mobile app you may download from an App or Play Store, but work within standard web browsers. This approach has two major benefits over native Mobile Apps - they are substantially cheaper to produce, and they can automatically adapt to work perfectly on all devices and mobile operating systems. Pepper Creative have developed Web Apps with a wide range of functions and end uses, from interactive historical trails and children's play experiences, to appointment booking and rating systems for spas and leisure clubs.

Rock Club

Pepper Creative were approached by High Sports to develop a Web App that could recreate a traditional student ‘Log Book’ on their smart phone. The App needed to allow multiple Rock Club participants to interact at the same time, allowing Instructors to mark climbing tasks as completed, and Climbers to review their training progress. The App utilised smart phone technology to its fullest, with climbers able to take written examinations, and parents and instructors to use an image upload function to post shots of children while climbing.

Newport Town Council

Newport Town Council commissioned Pepper Creative to develop a Web App that introduces residents and visitors to the town’s rich and varied history. The App allows mobile users to learn the stories of the people and places that have helped shape the character of the bustling town. This was achieved with the creation of ‘Historical Newport’, an interactive online trail around the Isle of Wight’s county town, with opportunities to view photos, watch videos and even listen to recordings of Newport residents and experts both past and present.

Club & Spa

The Island Wellness Club & Spa, formally West Bay Club, is a fitness centre, spa and café offering three ‘happiness’ pillars - Health, Wellness & Beauty. The luxury leisure business commissioned Pepper Creative to build a Web App to allow members to book exercise sessions and treatments, as well as introduce them to new activities they may not have considered before. Pepper’s App also gives users the opportunity to Rate & Review activities in which they have taken part.
